Hi~ I’m Coco, a simple, passionate 34 yrs girl who looks after goals and enjoys the path of life. 2015 marks a new beginning of this I decided to follow my heart above all.
I have a lovely little girl Sofia who’s 2.5 years old. And I am in love with Tony, my first boyfriend from childhood who entered my life recently after being apart over 10 years. This blog will serve as a journal for new life together as a family. I hope you enjoy reading it.
I was born and raised in China until I was 9 years old. My parents decided to immigrate to Argentina in 1990. We lived there for a year and I went back to China while my parents went to Japan. We went back to Argentina in 1994 and lived thereafter. Chinese and Argentinean cultures are very different. I’m not sure which influenced me more, but I like this mix. I keep some chinese traditional values and adopt the enthusiasm and energy of latin america countries.
In 2011, I finished PhD in Economics and currently working in an international organization where I can apply the theory in policy debates and it allows me to travel to remote places.
Ph.D is a life experience. Doing research requires a lot of self discipline because no one pushes you, no one asks you to work certain hours a day. No directions, no schedules, no official deadlines might sound liberating, but actually it was the most stressful experience ever. Do you know the real meaning of Ph.D? Permanent head damage! 😆
Yoga ,especially vinyasa yoga. It brings mind to peace at same time having a great workout.
Reading. I enjoy novels, bibliographies, health, and recently how to raise kids.
Movie. All kinds of movies are good for me. I enjoy the process of getting lost in the character’s story, a mind getaway from real life.
Cooking. Although I enjoy simple and healthy foods, I also like to prepare more elaborated meals for my friends and family. Watching how they enjoy my cooking is one of the most satisfying thing in the world.
Travel. I’d spend more money on travels rather than fashion. Travel experiences are unique and is one the best way to nourish our souls. I’ve been in several parts of China, Japan, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Austria, Argentina, Chile, Panama, Nicaragua, Uruguay, Brazil, Australia, Tanzania. I want to visit many more places like East Europe, Egypt, South East Asia and other parts of Africa.
